SOURCING MANAGER – FIXTURES
CHINA LOCATION

Blair Companies, an established and successful manufacturing and service organization headquartered in Pennsylvania, USA, is seeking a talented, technically-oriented candidate to assume the duties of an important new Fixture Sourcing Manager position located in China.

The manager in this role will have several related but distinct responsibilities. First, the manger will support the USA-based engineering team with drawing development and quality control. Second, the successful candidate will develop and monitor a new Pacific Rim supply base. The Manager will conduct supplier evaluations and audits, introduce continuous improvement projects, and implement inventory control systems to ensure supplier compliance and control throughout the Pacific Rim. The Sourcing Manger will have purchasing authority for various construction (millwork) fixtures and will report to Blair’s Fixtures and Logistics management team in Pennsylvania on activities related to these specific responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be a Chinese national possessing excellent English communication skill, both verbal and written, and well-developed computer capabilities, including Microsoft Office applications and CAD. A college degree is necessary, preferably in the furniture or fixtures engineering field. At least five years of relevant business experience is also expected. Regular travel will be necessary.
